Responsible person in the Dzong



ü Mange (cook)- Cook food
ü Dzongpoen (governer)- look after the administration of the Dzong
ü Zimpon (head of Chamberlain)- Look after the rations and smooth running of the dzong.
ü Nyerchen (store-keeper)- Take care of the rations of the monk body.
ü Tapoen (official in charge of the horses)- Look and take care of the horses.
ü Gorup (gate-keeper)- note the comings and goings of the people in and out of the Dzong.
ü Khangner – Clean and sweep the whole area in the Dzong.
ü  Nyeryo (assistant store-keeper) and Shanyer (meat-store man)- Tally their supplies and report to nyerchen.
ü 9. Poenga (water carrier)- Bring water from the river for use in the Dzong.
